Site SS0916* is located to the north of the Grade II* listed Mockbeggers Hall, a grand
house dating form 1621. The setting of the property has already been disrupted by
development to the east, namely the construction of the A14 trunk road and a hotel to
the north. Despite this, the potential site allocation would occupy an area of currently
open space to the north of the Hall and has the potential impact upon its setting.
