Confusion caused by the inclusion of sites which have Permission. The infrastructure pressures resulting from such development must be accounted for, but they should not appear as ‘possible sites’. They are sites.

Parish Council must accept as permission is already granted.

This site already has the benefit of outline planning permission, but when it was first proposed there was some discussion with the landowner about a site for a new primary school and more recreation space for the community. These are no longer proposed despite their need.

The site lies immediately to the east of four Grade II listed farmhouses: Willow Farmhouse, Green Farmhouse, Oak Farmhouse, and Dagwood Farmhouse. The open agricultural landscape setting of these farmhouses illustrate their former function, and therefore contributes to their significance. Whilst we welcome the reference to heritage assets and their setting in the Policy, we suggest this could be strengthened by listing these assets and by requiring that development is designed to conserve and where appropriate enhance these listed buildings and their settings.
