BMSDC Joint Local Plan Preferred Options (interactive)

Representation ID: 18574

Received: 27/09/2019

Respondent: Neatrun Investments Ltd

Agent: JJA Planning LLP

Representation:

We support the overall strategy of the Plan and support the Council’s efforts being undertaken to ensure an up-to-date Local Plan is in place. However, we request that a parcel of land is reconsidered for allocation for residential development of 20 units. The site is located just outside of the settlement boundary of Stutton to the east of Bentley Lane in the administrative boundary of Babergh District Council
The site was put forward by the applicant as part of the first Call for Sites consultation in March 2018 (reference number SS1049). The draft SHELAA July 2019 discounted the site as suitable because the development was ’likely to cause substantial harm to designated heritage assets and their settings which cannot be reasonably mitigated.
