The new Settlement Boundary at Lawshall Green / Hibbs Green includes significant areas of undeveloped land where, in accordance with draft Policy LP01, there is a presumption in favour of residential development. This would have a significant detrimental impact on the character of this area. The potential cumulative scale of development would be contradictory to the provisions of Policy LP01.
The Neighbourhood Plan identifies three distinct clusters here, recognising the distinct local characterisics of this area, and limits opportunities for development to that within the cluster rather than promoting ribbon development, which the Local Plan Settlement Boundary would encourage.
