Respondent: Lawshall Parish Council

Agent: Ian Poole

Representation:

Lawshall Parish Council objects to the redrawing of the Settlement Boundary to include undeveloped land to the west of Bury Road. Its inclusion provides a presumption in favour of development at a scale that would be contrary to that allowed by Policy LP01.

Any redrawing of Settlement Boundaries to include land without the benefit of planning consent should, in this instance, be determined by the local community through the review of the Neighbourhood Plan. The Local Plan identifies sufficient sites to deliver its housing requirement without the need to adjust the Settlment Boundary in this location.
