Land at Church Lane, Brantham should be included within the settlement boundary for development. A scheme of up to 25 dwellings with affordable housing and specialist housing for over 55s could be achieved.

Land west of Brantham Hill, Brantham is located adjacent to existing built form. An outline planning application was submitted in August 2019 under reference DC/19/04105. Site can accommodate 150 market and affordable dwellings within the plan period, alongside 0.1ha of land for community use and significant amounts of public open space and green infrastructure. Additional social and economic benefits will result from the development
including increased biodiversity, local economic spend and council tax payments. Significant technical information is already available to the Council within the planning application documents that illustrates the feasibility and deliverability of this Site for housing.
