Question why the objective of investment in skills and innovation are removed. We feel that is more important for the wider area I n the long term than a reliance on one single port operation and its transport link along the A14. As above, reliance on one single port operation is reckless when it has no certainty of longevity, or expansion, faced with competition from the developing Thames and Medway Deepwater ports which are to be linked to the National Motorway network.
