SPDs Draft Consultation

The draft SPDs provide further guidance and detail for development proposals, supporting the implementation of planning policies contained within the adopted Babergh and Mid Suffolk Joint Local Plan Part 1 2018-2037 Development Plan Document (November 2023). Representations can be made against each individual draft SPD (see below). In your representation please state whether you are commenting on the document overall, a particular section and/or which paragraph(s) you are commenting on in your response.

B&MSDC SPD Draft - Biodiversity and Trees

The draft Biodiversity and Trees SPD provides supplementary information to further explain the policies on biodiversity, protected species and habitats, and trees to inform the preparation, consideration and determination of planning applications, to ensure biodiversity enhancement is provided through the planning process.
